Pinecrest Conference and Retreat Center
Pinecrest is owned and operated by the Presbytery of
Memphis and sits just 37 miles east of Memphis in the Civil War era town of
LaGrange, Tennessee. In the 1860’s, the two of our bluffs in particular saw both
northern and southern troops camped as lookouts during the War between the
States.The 450-acre property hosted a farm just before our purchase in 1961.
Now,
Presbyterians and many others use the space for play, relaxation, fellowship,
and education.
